Danny Watkins
Height: 6’3
Weight: 310
College: Baylor
40 Time: 5.36
Class: Senior
Stock:
Projected: 1st-2nd Round
Overview:
Danny Watkins raised his stock significantly after he showed scouts what he could do at the Senior Bowl. He’s a tough player that projects well to a guard in a zone blocking scheme. He lacks the footwork and elite quickness to remain at left tackle in the NFL but he’s a solid run blocker with good strength that plays with good leverage. He’s older than most rookies (26), and he doesn’t have a lot of football experience so he may take some time to adjust to the NFL game. He should be a solid player in the NFL however.
