Texans +3 (-115)
Bet 2.30 to win 2.00
The Bengals have struggled lately, well Andy Dalton has struggled lately. Dalton has put up impressive numbers for a rookie but he has struggled against the top defenses in the league. The Texans just beat the Falcons because their defense dominated the Falcons offense. They’re feeling good and know they can win with T.J. Yates. I’m taking the points on a 9-3 team with an elite defense. My trend also backs this one up so I’m making it 2 units.
Bucs -3 (-110)
Bet 1.10 to win 1.00
The Bucs might not be that great but the Jaguars suck. Their defense has been decimated by injuries so the Bucs should be able to get something going in the air. While the Bucs defense sucks as well, Gabbert won’t be able to take advantage of this because he sucks too. Yes, lot’s of sucking going on in this game, but I like the Bucs to suck a little bit less.
Broncos -3 (-120)
Bet 2.40 to win 2.00
In Tebow we trust. He’s been on a tear and now the Bears are supposed to walk into Mile High and beat him and the Broncos? Not happening. It’s not like the Bears have an elite defense anymore, in fact, they struggle against the run giving up 4.5 YPC. Their passing defense isn’t anything special either but Tebow won’t be passing much anyways. I also can’t see Caleb Hanie doing anything against the Broncos defense which has been awesome lately (Von Miller was out last week).
Giants +4.5 (-110)
Bet 2.20 to win 2.00
This line seems so wrong to me. Yes, the Giants have been reeling but this is exactly what they need to get back into it, a big game against a division rival. If you don’t think they won’t get up for this game… you’re wrong! I really don’t know but I imagine they will since they could see their playoff hopes slip away if the Cowboys take care of business. Speaking of the Cowboys, I’m tired of this team choking. They fly under the radar for a bit but every time they need to step up they fall flat on their faces. I like the Giants to win straight up and hate the Cowboys in big games like these.
