Overview:

Corey Liuget is an interesting DT prospect that is getting 1st round consideration. He’s very strong and was productive at Illinois. He plays the game with a lot of tenacity and he is very violent in the trenches. However, he is very raw. He doesn’t have a lot of starts under his belt and his technique needs a ton of work. He struggles to get off blocks, he has poor instincts and he doesn’t have many pass-rush moves. All of this can be coached up and he can be a disruptive UT but he will need a lot of work before he can make an impact in the NFL.
